About Lucie

I’ve become fascinated with
reflexology and the benefits it
can bring about.

Living on the Costa del Sol in 2008 the economy was in crisis. I was working with a friend organising events. Whilst having a beauty treatment my beautician, a holistic therapist, told me she was not enjoying doing CACI facial treatments. She said using a machine for facials wasn’t for her. A Jersey lady, Dawn, had previously offered these amazing facials but had retired. I had seen the results and knew the treatments were intended to be kept up monthly.

After following my instincts I found myself on a training course in London. I immediately started work offering non-surgical facials. The clients happily told friends about me. It was satisfying to see ladies confidence improve. I enjoyed facials so much I was keen to learn more and quickly added tinting and hands on facials to my treatments. My clients wanted good results and I decided to add microdermabrasion so I could treat the skin as well as tighten facial muscles with CACI.

“My interest in anti ageing treatments, led me to add Radiofrequency. Although I worked with CACI for many years I’d heard about other treatments achieving incredible results. You get an immediate tightening of the collagen fibres, so it’s great before an event, but it also gives a long-lasting lift and increased volume.

The beauty industry is thriving and I love to keep on top of trends. I heard about Shrinking Violet inch-loss wraps. They sounded unbelievable. I had to find out for myself. I trained in Alicante and many clients found themselves in cling film whilst having a facial. It was amazing to measure a lady and find problem areas shrink by 1-3 cm in just an hour.

After many years happily working in skin care it was obvious this is where my future was going to be. I took an internationally recognised diploma and became CIBTAC qualified.

In Jersey I’ve developed further and now find myself working the other end of the body as I’ve become fascinated with reflexology and the benefits it can bring about. This year i’ve introduced Indian Head massage to add onto my facial treatments and as a stand alone treatment for total relaxation. My newest qualification, something i’ve hoped to train in for a while, is glycolic peels. These help fine lines, uneven skin tone and texture, pigmentation and photodamage. Skincare is so important and I want to pass on my passion to clients as homecare is equally as important as salon visits.
